GAUDI - "Dub 'n Breakz Live Set" Italian-born, London-based keyboardist, music producer, and solo artist, Gaudi has an eclectic style that’s launched him to the forefront of the nu-beat scene. His music, which is an organic fusion of dub, electronica, and world beat, is on the playlists and is regularly being performed live in the U.K. and internationally. An obsessive experimenter, Gaudi constantly searches for new forms of sounds and grooves. He essentially takes different genres and styles from around the world and re-casts them in his own personal way while retaining the heart and significance of their cultural roots. He’s remixed a vast array of artists, most notably Bob Marley, Simple Minds, Trilok Gurtu, Scissor Sisters, and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. With 11 solo albums to date, 250 music productions, 80 remixes, and more than 100 compilations featuring his tracks, Gaudi is all over the U.K. and U.S. charts. His recent Interchill release Bass, Sweat & Tears is the label’s best-selling album — an organic fusion of dub and nu-beat with a hint of psychedelia inspired by cultures from Africa, the Indian subcontinent, South America, and the Mediterranean.
