WALSHY FIRE

Walshy Fire, Leighton Walsh, is one-third of Major Lazer, an electronic group famous for remixes of artists like No Doubt, Bruno Mars, Beastie Boys, and Busy Signal. In 2003 he became a member of the Miami soundsystem known as Black Chiney, though he was previously a selector in Brooklyn, NY. His sound is a blend of EDM, dancehall, soca, and trap. Walshy joined Major Lazer in 2011, helping produce Snoop Lion’s “Reincarnated,” and their latest album, “Free the Universe.”
