The Slackers are Brooklyn, New York's ska/reggae kings. The band has been tearing around the world for the past 20 years building faithful audiences in the process. The Slackers have been guests of Victoria and Vancouver numerous times and have also appeared on Victoria's Annual Ska Festival at least twice in the festival's history. With numerous albums behind them (presently signed to Hellcat Records) and more to come the band only has a bright past to look back on and a bright future to look forward to.
Guests Georgetown Orbits may not have 20 years behind them but they've been around for about half that much time which still gives them a rich history. Georgetown Orbits have also appeared on the Victoria Ska Festival with The Slackers.
