   The Revivers are an amazing ska and reggae band from California that features members of The Debonaires, The Skeletones, and See Spot. They've got a classic ska sound that features chunky guitars, swooning organs, and blasting drums. This is a band for fans of the classic Trojan sound as well as modern groups like Hepcat and The Aggrolites. This EP features 5 cover tunes drawn from The Dynamites, The Black Diamonds, and others. This album leans heavily into Skinhead Reggae, but also offers a couple rocksteady tunes. The production is done with the utmost respect to its sources and you can really get carried away with the amazing rhymth section. It's the perfect length for an album of its kind. I found myself flipping back over to side A for another listen time and time again, but the tunes never got stale after repeated listens. It's a great buy for vinyl collectors as well as anyone looking to get their collection going.
