The Island will be blessed with Canada's grooviest most talented ska/reggae acts.
Here's an interesting fact: Did you know that the first (Canadian "Chris Murray Combo" consisted of Jules Charles - from The Bombasts/Eep Op Orp; Christian Stevenson from the same band and Sam Tallo of King Apparatus. Well if you didn't know then you'll be happy to know that those musicians consist of four fifths of Chris Murray & the New Victorians.
And The Beatdown are Stomp Records' most soulful ska/reggae band. The Beatdown have major influences from The Aggrolites (especially their older material) and those into tradionial ska; soul, and reggae will be in heaven if they attend this show.
Tuff Jelly has just been added to the bill and are excited to make a rare appearance in support of these two bands. Hailing from Victoria the members of Tuff Jelly mix dirty reggae with ska, dancehall and a smack of rap just to keep it steady. ROCKAS beware the tuff jelly fish is the toughest fish in the sea
