Although this announcement is a bit last minute, it's an announcement that comes 'Better Late Than Never."
Victoria BC Ska & Reggae Society is thrilled to announce that Vic Ruggiero of The Slackers has decided to take some down time on the west coast of Canada at the end of January 2018.
His down time will take him to Victoria on Sunday, January 28th at Lucky Bar for an evening of great music and stories from The Slackers' legendary lead vocalist/guitar. He will be playing an acoustic set.
Many people know the band Vic Ruggiero is the lead vocalist of (The Slackers) but many people don't know that Ruggiero has maintained an active and healthy touring career for well over a decade.
In fact it was almost 10 years ago that Vic Ruggiero came to Victoria and played with his other legendary ska counterpart Chris Murray to a sold out audience at Lucky Bar as part of Victoria's 10th Anniversary Ska Festival.
We can't wait for this show! Hearing Vic's solo creations and a bunch of songs Slackers songs sung acoustic to boot! This is another legendary evening in the making.
