Toronto based garage punk psych rockers, Wine Lips hit the stage for the first time in the fall of 2015. Initially a part time project between songwriter/guitar player, Cam Hilborn and drummer Aurora Evans, the band began playing clubs in Toronto, stretching organically to surrounding Ontario cities, and then Quebec. Now a decade into their career, the band has wowed crowds across the globe with their aggressive and catchy blend of punk and psychedelia.
Jackson McDonald — AKA King Bob — has been a semi-regular fixture in the Victoria music scene since moving from Parksville in 2012. Since officially forming last year, the band has played several sold out shows, released their debut LP Rookie, been named Zone Band of The Month, and played The Phillips Backyard. Expect super catchy hooks and relatable lyrics that have made the band one of Victoria’s fastest rising punk groups.
The Dog Indiana are a Victoria-based power trip who make a hell of a racket. Blending jagged noise rock with a grungy sense of melody and a a dash of psych rock, the group has made a serious mark on the underground BC music scene through regular touring and a series of acclaimed releases.
