VICTORIA'S 7TH ANNUAL SKA FESTIVAL aka
Festival of the People is back with a bang to give you a seventh kick ass year of ska, reggae, dancehall, punk, rock, soul, jazz, funk, Latin and whatever else you can throw in there. The ska festival journey described by many as a summer Christmas season will start at Open Air (Centennial Square) on Wednesday, July 12th for an evening show with Seattle's Georgetown Orbits and Vancouver's The Skatomatics. Come one and come all cause it's free and you'll start off your festival experience on the right foot.

Following this free show there will be a Tribute to The Clash, Operation Ivy & Hepcat featuring SUBCITY DWELLERS, THE REAL DEAL & THE WEDGEWOODS @ Sugar Nightclub. Advance tickets for that show will be available at Lyle's Place & Ditch Records in Victoria & Zulu Records, Redcat Records and Highlife Records in Vancouver.
