It's hard to believe that THE SLACKERS Brooklyn's kings of ska are now celebrating 25 successful years of bringing the world joy, peace and protest in all their colours. Through it all the band has produced the greatest volume of albums of any ska/reggae band of the third wave era. Now fittingly they have a new self-titled album called "The Slackers" with more of that Slackers goodness fans across the world have grown to love.
It was on 4/20 of 2000 that The Slackers first came to Victoria and played at The Limit and ever since that first visit the band has come to many times to count performing with numerous local bands at Victoria's Annual Ska & Reggae Festival and year round presentations.
The guests of honour on this show will be Portland's The Sentiments, Nanaimo's Boomshack and Victoria's own Blackwood Kings!
