Back by popular demand after their most memorable Victoria debut opening for Delhi 2 Dublin, Jon Bone & The Karuna Movement are a large collective of reggae, funk and jazz musicians around Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. The band lays down a mix of reggae, funk, and world grooves and coloring them with catchy melodies and deep lyrical content.

Karuna means compassion. Music is medicine.


Joining Jon Bone & The Karuna Movement will be Victoria's own Buena Buya who recently finished playing an amazing Ska St. Paddy's Day show at Lucky Bar. Both Buena Buya with their 8 -11 piece band and Jon Bone & The Karuna Movement with special guest belly dancer Gillian Coysky will make this a night to remember for many moons to come!
