Thursday, November 10th Victoria Ska & Reggae Society in affiliation with Garden City Grooves is proud to welcome back UK turntable wizard and bass master JFB to Victoria after nearly four years away to rock our ears and get our bodies moving. One of the most renowned and beloved turntablists on the planet, JFB has traversed the globe dazzling crowds and leaving a trail of sweaty dancers wherever he touches the decks. So unparalleled are his abilities that 2021 saw him win #1 no less than three times at the DMC World DJ Championships where he won World Champion, World Beat Juggling Champion and World DJ Team Champions – BREXecutioners (with DJ Angelo). His sets have become the stuff of legend, earning him regular spots at some of the biggest electronic music festivals in the world – most notably for us on the west coast, the legendary Fractal Forest at Shambhala. When JFB is behind the decks you can be guaranteed you're going to get an endless array of sonic twists and turns, relentless genre-hopping delivered by two of the most skilled hands in the game. His vast knowledge of music and immense talents behind the decks has found him taking the stage of some of the most notable festivals in western Canada – Shambhala, Wicked Woods and FozzyFest.
